Governor Gwen Garcia went to the Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO) last February 12 to lead the ceremonial destruction of forty video karera machines confiscated throughout the entire province, as well as the burning of 500 marijuana stalks confiscated from Balamban.

“This is in response to the governor's declaration of a total war against illegal gambling and illegal drugs,” CPPO Director Colonel Erson Digal said.....
